The R+D focus of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials IFAM is in the field of adhesion science and controlled wettability. We develop new release films (PeelPLAS®) for release-agent-free production of large scale fiber-reinforced plastic parts like rotor blades of wind turbines or wings of aircrafts. The polymer film GrowPLAS® helps modern greenhouses to become even more efficient.
