Hybrid Network event – Roll-to-Roll Technologies – Get ready for future challenges
Surface functionalization of materials can be performed very efficiently applying continuous roll-to-roll (R2R) processes. These R2R technologies are a major path for the scale-up of surface treatments and functionalization of flexible substrates such as polymer films, membranes, textiles, non-wovens and fibers as well as of glass or metals.
Stakeholders in this field have joined in the network R2R NET, connecting companies and research institutions working in the field of R2R surface functionalization.
There will be an event in November to increase the awareness about the opportunities offered by R2R technologies. Partners of the network and invited high-level experts from industry will present trends, latest developments and funding opportunities to address future challenges.
The hybrid event will be held at the Fraunhofer Institute FEP in Dresden, Germany on November 23rd and may be followed virtually also via MS Teams.
The participation will be free of charge.
